Why Do Lawns Sink?
This is a massive problem in new build estates. Developers often bury organic waste, tree stumps, or loose rubble under a thin layer of soil. Over a few years, that rubbish rots away or settles, creating deep, dangerous sinkholes and trenches across your lawn.
The Structural Repair Process
To fix a sinking lawn permanently, you have to address the void underneath. We excavate the sunken area and dig down to find the root cause. If there is rotting material, we remove it. We then backfill the deep voids with compacted sub-base material and premium topsoil, ensuring the ground is structurally solid before we re-lay the turf, guaranteeing it will never sink again.
